This year is weird! Its a positive great year, and I feel really good about it, yet so much has happened healthwise that is just not good.

My mom just told me that Grampa McCarthy, who lives in Illinois, was recently diagnosed with throat cancer. My mom will be calling over there today sometime then giving me the updates. Fark!

Also, Jim is back from the hospital and doing well. He better get his health on track or the next heart attack might kill him.

edit= Mom talked to Grampa and his wife today. He will be going in tomorrow for tests. Maybe have surgery first. The tumor is about 3 cm and the test today was to find out if it has spread into the lymph node system or not. When they know that then they will know how to treat it. Grampa is scared, and my mom doesn't want to think about her life without her dad. It makes me sad. We shall know more soon hopefully.
